Cambridgeshire SEND Local Offer

In September 2014, the new SEN Code of Practice came into force.  As a result of this, there are some changes to the way schools and local authorities ensure that the needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) are met.

What does this mean?

All local authorities must publish in one place information about the services they expect to be available in their area for children and young people 0 – 25, who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. This is known as the ‘Local Offer’.

This is the link to the Cambridgeshire Local Offer, which will be changed and developed over time and in consultation with parents, children and young people.  This website outlines the services available, the criteria to qualify to access each service and referral information. It can be accessed on the following link:

The School Information Report

Every school has to publish an annual Information Report.  The aim is to give parents information about how we support children’s learning in our school.  The report is available on it's own tab under this section.

If you require additional information, please contact the school’s Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Mrs Annette Riley, via the School Office:

  •  We as a staff give reassurance to our children that we are there for them as Jesus was for his flock. We will care and look after them, we will teach them and do not leave anyone behind.
