Emergency School Closure Information
A reminder in case the weather changes and turns cold:
In the event of a school closure, for any reason, information will be placed on Cambridgeshire County Council’s website at the webpage www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/education/schools/schoolclosure/. Alternatively you can do a search for ‘Cambridge School Closure’.
Local radio stations will also broadcast information on emergency school closures. If we have to close due to bad weather we will endeavour to inform the following 2 radio stations:
BBC Radio Cambridgeshire
Heart 103
We will also put a message on our school website stating that we are closed (on the home page in the bulletin board box), and email and text through Parentmail.
We will always try to give as much notice as possible to parents regarding having to close the school but often decisions are made depending upon whether staff have managed to get to school from their homes.
